Dublin, Belfast, Best New School and Banana Ink!

Last year was my first year featuring in tattoo conventions as a professional tattooer and boy what a year since! This year I will be back up north as part of the Titanic Belfast Tattoo Convention starting on 29th of July and also back in the Helix in Dublin for the annual Dublin Tattoo Art Expo on the 2nd of July.

Last year at The 2015 Northern Ireland Tattoo convention I was very honoured to win Best New School (image above) and still thankful to all the organisers as it was an awesome weekend.

Also last year, I was delighted to be asked to work at the Dublin tattoo art expo 2015. As I’m from Dublin it was great to finally work a tattoo convention in my own county. They have a very impressing line up of artists and acts throughout the entire weekend, so no chance of you getting bored. My Little one even got her very first hand painted tattoo at 1 years old. Only sad thing was that I didn’t get an chance to visit the Banana Ink stall to try my hand at tattooing a banana again (for old times sake).

Looking forward to working it again this year ( I’ll be back with more prints and stickers!) and hope to catch everyone again at the Helix.

Mastectomy Tattoo – Floral Design

Hi All,

I recently had the pleasure of meeting and tattooing a client who had undergone partial mastectomy surgery and wanted a tattoo over the scarring. She wrote to me to thank me for my work. It was a pleasure.

“I met Kim at the Dublin Tattoo Show in the Helix in summer 2015 and talked to her about covering up my mastectomy scarring. She was really positive and went with my ideas, drawing up a gorgeous design exactly to the brief. The sessions were tough due to the after effects of surgery, but Kim was so encouraging and I am thrilled with the results. The scars and dents are so well hidden and have given me my confidence back. Kim is amazing ,I am lucky to have found a true artist and am proud to be showing off her work!” Lesley

Thanks again, if you would like to talk or need advice about tattoos over scarring of any kind please contact me on the contact page – KB

Hey there,

I’m one of the lovely tattooists featuring this year at the 3rd annual Galway Tattoo Show in the Radisson Hotel in Galway on the 12th and 13th of September 2015.

Here’s a little of what they have to say:

“The show will bring together some of the best international tattoo artists in the world and mix that in with the amazing tattoo talent of some of Ireland’s best tattoo artists.
The show is not only a celebration of tattoo art, and will feature entertainment, live music, a stunning art gallery, a free tattoo cinema, photo booth, market stalls and traders on show to keep you entertained.”

If you would like to book a session with me at the show contact me on my contact page or at Reinkarnated Tattoo Shop. Remember bookings go pretty fast at these events so if you’re thinking of getting inked holla at me!

Check out my drawing on Baggot Street For Dublin Canvas

Hi guys, this is my first post!!!!

Last week I was honored to draw some of my art as part of an amazing new project for community art project Dublin Canvas. The project is brain child of Dave Murtagh and according to him is ‘a project intended to bring flashes of colour and creativity to everyday objects in the City. Less grey, more play. The project takes previously unused public space and transforms it into canvases to help brighten up the City. Making Dublin a more beautiful place to live, work and visit.’

Here’s a few pics of my day and also a nice little write-up about the project in The Sunday Times. Thanks Dave, and hope my version of a Chinese dragon brightens up people’s day.
